Optim・Head of Design

As the sole product designer for Optim and router 810/815 GUI projects, partnering with the CIG sales team and the engineering team, after the pandemic in 2022, I was given the opportunity to fly to the US to meet all​ my partners and stakeholders with a multitude of sales, PMs, engineers, and operators split between Milan, Tokyo, Shanghai, and Silicon Valley.
Optim is a comprehensive Internet service management solution.
As the lead of design within a multinational team, I collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to ensure high quality and establish a clear direction and schedule. My focus extends to optimizing design workflows, enhancing front-end collaboration and efficiency, and progressively introducing a standardized design process.
The journey began with a technician platform, followed by the development of the mobile app.
In the Optim Mobile App initiative, I took a ground-up approach for both iOS and Android users, informed by in-depth user and competitive research. I managed the entire design evolution, seamlessly integrating user flows, visuals, and interactions.
Additionally, I tailored the design system specifically for Optim, which we apply to the entire Optim platform. With Optim Cloud Service, I deployed new features and updates through iterative development, simultaneously redesigning UI layouts to improve usability and responsiveness.
